Forest and Parks Commission

The Town of Chelsea Selectboard has created a Forest and Parks Commission, the object of which  is to create and implement management plans for the protection and enjoyment of the Chelsea Town owned parcels, including but not limited to, the North and South Commons, FEMA transferred properties and the two Town Forest parcels. As needed, the Commission will collaborate with any Town Committees responsible for managing other Town properties.

The Commission is advisory to the Selectboard and holds regular meetings the first Monday of the month at 6:00 in the Chelsea Town library. Meetings are open to the public and we encourage your input.

The Commission currently consists of 8 members who are residents of the Town of Chelsea.
